The Man Behind the Meter

I am not a franchise. I am not a dispatch service. When you call Huntsville Wire & Home, you get me.

Michael, Owner of Huntsville Wire and Home. Licensed Electrician serving Huntsville and Madison, AL.

01. The Commercial Pro

My “Day Job” is Critical Infrastructure.

During the week, I work as a commercial electrician building Data Centers and industrial facilities here in the Valley. In those environments, there is zero margin for error. A mistake doesn’t just trip a breaker; it costs millions.

I bring that same “Data Center Standard” to your home. Whether I’m wiring a hot tub or troubleshooting a switch, I use commercial-grade torque specs, heavy-duty materials, and rigorous testing methods that most residential handymen simply skip.

02. The Army Veteran

Mission First. People Always.

I served in the U.S. Army, and that experience dictates how I run my business today. In the service, “on time” meant 15 minutes early, and leaving a job site messy was a dereliction of duty.

My Promise to You:

  • I will not “ghost” you.
  • I will show up when I say I will.
  • I will treat your home with the respect I was taught to have for my equipment and my team.

03. The Mission: Rambam’s Ladder

Dignity Through Competence.

I am not just a tradesman; I am the founder of a tech company called Rambam’s Ladder. We develop “Deep Tech” applications for the skilled trades, including Jolt—an app used by electricians all over the world to calculate complex safety loads and code compliance.

My work in tech is driven by a specific mission: To prevent poverty by sharing skilled trades with the next generation.

The name comes from the philosophy that the highest form of charity is not just giving a handout, but strengthening a person’s hand—teaching them a trade, giving them a job, or helping them start a business—so that they no longer need help at all.

This isn’t just a side hustle for me; it’s a vocation. When I work on your home, I am bringing the mind of a software developer, the discipline of a soldier, and the ethics of a teacher to every single wire.
